Save the dates

Meghan, on January 17, 2021 at 11:21 AM Posted in Planning 0 15
Hey!

Does anyone know of any good deals going on for save the dates?
Did you purchase them separately or buy a package with invitations through a vendor?
Thank you!

We got our save the dates from VistaPrint. We purchased from during a Black Friday sale. We bought them separately. I've never actually seen them as a package deal with invitations.

I bought my Save The Dates from Etsy! They were a really good deal, and the quality was great. I also purchased my invitations from Etsy, though from a different seller.

I used minted for my save the date magnets and I was super happy with the magnets and envelopes. From my experience so far Minted always has deals going on it’s all a matter of catching them when they do have a deal. For example I’m not sure if the deal is still going on but you can pay $15 for a wedding website and they’ll give you $50 off on invitations/save the dates.

Minted always has great deals going on, and they have free envelope addressing.

I had originally bought a customizable template from an Etsy store that also had a discount code for Vistaprint. we ultimately went with Minted though. We looked at other companies/sites, but Minted's designs were prettier and matched our wedding vision better.

They had a discount code during the holidays (not sure if it still works, but it's: ENGAGED25). We got 25% off with the code and we liked how Minted has free recipient addressing, saving us time on buying envelopes and writing out addresses. You can also save more money buy getting your STDs in postcard format.

Check out Vistaprint or Ann's Bridal Bargains. We got our invitations from Ann's and they were super cheap and good quality.

We got our save the dates from Minted (completely separate from our invitation vendor). We were so pleased with the high quality, fast turn around time, and free envelope addressing. I would highly recommend Minted!

Many places sell save the dates. Do you want digital, a postcard, magnet they can see everyday?

Etsy, Minted, Zazzle, Vistaprint all carry them. You can also design your own on Canva.com and have them printed online or at a local Staples.

We got ours from magnetstreet at 75% off so definitely look at them to see if they have deals. We're getting our invitations from Shutterfly and they always have deals (and if you don't already have an account with them and sign up they'll send you a coupon). We actually used the two different sites because shutterfly didn't have stds that matched our invitations but they do have full suites for many other invitation styles.

I really wanted text in gold foil and one of our engagement photos on my save the dates and found it cheapest on Shutterfly. Paid $70 for 60. I ordered my invitation suite from Zazzle. They have 40% off deals all the time. I ended up paying around $200 less than the suites I liked from Minted, even with hiring a digital calligrapher for the envelopes.
