Save the Dates

Tiffany, on January 11, 2020 at 6:07 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

I'm filling out the form to order labels for the guest addresses to put on the save the date envelopes and I have a question on one particular situation.

One home with fiance's 3 step siblings and their mom. All 4 are invited to the wedding. One of the step siblings is a groomsman. I know, typically, you send one per household but given that one is a groomsman and we have more than enough to send to each person individually, I wanted some outside opinions.

Do we send one to the whole household or one to each person in that household?

If they are over 18 then each person would get their own. Under 18 you can send one to the household.

All over 18. I thought that only applied to invitations but it would make sense to do the same with save the dates. Thank you!

It’s whatever you’re comfortable with! Sometimes it can cause less confusion to send them each individually. But it’s up to you with how many you have.

I’d do individually if you have enough. It makes it special to receive mail that isn’t junk mail. Also, etiquette dictates that each adult (over18)/adult couple in a household gets their own save the date/invite/what have you. Congrats and good luck!
