How early did you start asking people for their address so when your ready to send off your save the dates it’s not a hassle

We started asking about 11 months beforehand. A lot of our families live across the country and some don't use social media. So that's where we brought in the parents to help track down aunts/uncles.

As soon as we figured out the guest list, we started reaching out to people for addresses. Luckily, FMIL already had a lot of FH's side.

Nail down your guest list before you start asking for addresses. It could create an awkward situation if you ask someone for their address and then you later decide to not invite them for budget or capacity reasons.

We had a list of most addresses prior since we sent out Christmas cards year prior. I'd give yourself at least 1 month.

Hey Future Mrs. Anderson! My fiancé and I didn't do STDs, but I started asking for addresses once we had finalized our guest list. My only recommendation is to just be sure everyone who is getting a STD will be invited to the wedding. Also, before you send out invitations, if you think anyone may have moved please double check!

I did digital save the dates but my invitations will be formal. I just started asking today for address' for My Dec 31 wedding. Invites will go out in early August because our families don't live in the same state that we do and it's a holiday wedding and a NO KID wedding!! So they need to be able to make travel and childcare arrangements
