My wedding date is 2/22/20 and I'm doing my STD next month. I'm planning on sending out invitations in October before the craziness of the holiday season kicks in with rsvp by 1/10/20.

I haven't had a date twin so this is pretty cool Smiley smile

I love your idea about sending out invites prior to the holidays, I was going to do this as well. I feel like anything wedding related will get lost in the holiday shuffle if it isn't done and out prior. A lot of people helping me with the wedding are not seeming to understands this for some reason, lol

That's exactly my reason! Lol Mid November until the end of December is nothing but a blur. Plus alot of my guests are coming from out of town so I want them to have an idea on hotel costs, etc before the holidays so they can plan accordingly.

*Sigh of Relief* I am so happy I finally have someone with the same wedding date, feeling the same way I do with getting planning take care of. Everyone around me except FH (he agrees with me) keeps telling me we have plently of time, but as a reminded them this past weekend, um no we don't, we have like 8 months. And really we don't have that as I do not want to be wedding planning after July really so I can focus on birthday, anniversaries and the holidays.

Absolutely! I am right there with ya! We literally have all of our vendors picked out and deposits placed. The only one we haven't decided on is the DJ. Heck I purchased my dress back in flowers! Lol The only thing I plan on having to do by October is finish paying on the venue and doing the bouquets. Just about everyone in my wedding party has allergy issues, so we're doing real touch flowers!

I have pretty much all deposits paid on everything, I think. I still have the florist and the bakery to book though. I am curious about real touch flowers, but I am sure I will just get real flowers no matter what, I love them Smiley smile Most of the wedding will have greens with a few places and the bridal party having flowers. Have you done your BM dress shopping yet? I am going with 2 of my girls in 2 weeks but the 3rd girl is being a difficult. She is constantly saying she can't make any times we have planned even if they are 2 months out, or she has forgotten the day and missed the appt all together. She wants us to work around her schedule and I hate sounding like a control freak bride but why should Ugh

I would definitely try to get the cake done next. It can be a little time consuming with scheduling cake tastings and working with the baker to decide what you want. We're doing cupcakes and just the top layer to cut for pictures and it was still almost a 2 hour meeting. Luckily we went with the first baker we tried and didn't schedule anymore after that. All of my bridesmaids except for 1 are out of state.Smiley sad I have one in Chicago and 3 in Pennsylvania. I was thinking of having them order dresses through Azazie but the whole idea of them not trying them on gives me anxiety. Lol I kinda want to just do David's Bridal and be done with it but I don't know. You can' really work around just one persons schedule. She's gotta compromise a little.

Depends, a lot of my guests travel and don't live in the country so I am sending them a year out. If you have a more local crowd 6-8 months

Hey Kara! Have you started looking at designs for your Save The Dates? Are you planning on having an engagement photo shoot? If you are looking for ideas, lots of couples use a photo from their shoot on their STDs.
