So I am getting married 10.3.2020, very popular year and Month! How early could I send save the dates since it is such a popular time!

I think it depends on how many other weddings or events your guest list has going on that will be close to your date. I sent mine super early because my cousin was getting married a month before us, and it was essentially the same exact guest list for like 2/3 of my list. If neither of us had done a save the date, it would have been worse on both of us, I think.

Hmmm okay! I don’t think we actually have any events in my family or my fiancé’s family because we are the last of age to get married!

That will really help! I think I did mine like six months or so in advance due to their wedding, plus a huge amount of guests coming from out of state or out of town. That's another reason to send earlier.

I loved someone's suggestion of sending out happy new year / we are getting married save the date greeting cards.

Since there are no other big events going on that you know of, I don’t think you would have to do it any earlier than the normal recommended time of like 6 months out or maybe 8 if you have out of town guests

We’re also getting married October 2020! About half our guest list is international, so we’re planning to send them out a year in advance. I know it’s early, but we really want people booking their hotels and flights well in advance.

I think it depends on how many people will be coming from out of town. We are also getting married in October 2020 and I plan to send our save the dates in February 2020 which is 8 months in advance.
