Hello everyone!

So our wedding is 12/12/2020, 12 days before Christmas and we are stuck on when to send out save the dates!

We want to make sure no one schedules any work Christmas parties or anything for that day, so we want to send them early, how how early is too early? My cousin sent hers out 14 months in advance, and i'm not sure if thats a good timeline to follow. We know the holidays are chaotic and we want people to have plenty of time to plan and be ready for any travel or anything needed.

I think it would be good idea to send sometime in January, like Happy New Year we’re getting married this year!

Fellow December bride here- we sent our STDs out about 11 months in advance.

I'm getting married Nov 2020 and I'm planning to send mine out in November! I think 12 months ahead is perfect so that people can keep in mind 'this time next year it's Autumn's wedding, we can't plan anything on this date' you know?

I think I'd send them after the holiday rush - I'd be afraid of things getting lost in the shuffle of Christmas cards and such. That being said, Christmas card STDs could be pretty cute.

I'd definitely wait until after the New Year just so it doesn't get lost in people's Christmas mail! We're getting married on Leap Day and for the same reason, we're waiting until the first week of January to send out our invitations.
