Save the Dates

Talia, on December 23, 2019 at 10:27 AM Posted in Planning 0 15

We are getting married October 10,2020. That's a very popular day. I was wondering if sending out save the dates like middle/end of January is too early?

Thanks. I thought I couldn't go wrong with sending them around then.

That's totally fine. We already got save the dates from my husband's best man and his wedding is the same day as yours, but the wedding is in California and almost everyone has to travel for the wedding so he wanted to give everyone plenty of time.

For that date, definitely! Sooner rather than later in your case for sure!

Definitely not too early. That's predicted to be one of the most popular dates for 2020 (possibly THE most popular date) so the earlier you send STDs, the better!

I think that's fine and won't get lost in the holiday shuffle. We sent ours out earlier than normal, but have a lot of out state friends and family so we wanted to give enough notice.

My wedding coordinator suggested 11-12 months in advance for October. So January would be a great time. We put ours with holiday/ New Years cards

Date twins and we’re sending our STDs in January. But we’re also having a destination wedding.

Our wedding is November 2020 and we are sending ours out in January. If you use the checklist planning tool here or the knot it says for my wedding to send the STDs my January. You should be fine!
