Wedding is November 23,2019. I was finishing grad school and in the process of passing boards , so wedding planning has taken a back seat 😬. I know I need to send out save the dates, was wondering what the latest everyone thinks my deadline can be & has anyone done minted save the dates? If so how did they turn out? And can I write the addresses myself and not hire a calligrapher? I don’t know much about wedding planning. Too busy with school/boards right now 🤓

this was a practice picture, but I feel like it’s ok! Haha. I don’t need it to be perfect. Thoughts on the pic? I don’t feel like I need to hire a professional photographer for this, right?

Save the dates should go out 6 months before. So I'd get them asap or just wait and send invites a little early.
Hiring somebody to write the addresses isnt necessary. We bought ours from vistaprint and used our home printer to directly print on the envelopes.

So cute! We sent our STDs out 10 months in advance as over half of our guest list will be traveling and I have military family members.

Ohhhh..this is the most perfect save the date😍 dont change a thing! I'm getting married the day before you and just sent out my hand addressed STD's. Your fine to send them out in the next few weeks.

We sent our stds in March for our September wedding, so get them out soon.

We did alsonuse minted and they Nd they turned out great! You don’t need a calligrapher, we actually took advantage of the free addressing through minted with a nice font, and it was great. We are doing the same for our invites.

You can totally hand write the addresses! You can print on the envelopes or on labels too! I'd send them out no later than 6 months (so pretty soon). I ordered ours on Zazzle and loved them. I also don't think a professional picture is necessary, the one you took is super cute!

That picture is priceless! I love that your fur-babies are announcing for you, that's fabulous. Use that and go with what you and your FH want. You can make beautiful labels from your computer or most companies now offer to address them for you, so take them up on it. lol.
