Wedding is 5/23 Should I still send out save the dates or just wedding invites?

At this point I would just send out invites. Save the dates normally go out 8-6 months prior to the wedding.

You can send save the dates if you really want to, but I would do it ASAP. Save the dates are usually sent 6-8 months (up to a year for destination weddings) in advance. If you have a lot of guests who are traveling, it might be worth sending them to give them a heads up. We actually sent ours out at the 4 month mark, only because we had already ordered them and had to move our date up unexpectedly (would've gone out at the 6 month mark).

Unless you can send them out now or early next week, I'd just send invites out around 3 months out.

Date twins! I sent mine out in December and I'm sending invites at the end of February. If you can get them out soon, that would be best! I put our wedding website on the card so they could start looking at info because of the holiday weekend.

Date tein. Since that's an actual holiday weekend I'd send the Std's like yesterday and then invites regularly scheduled. I wanted to be absolutely everyone made no plans for the holiday weekend but to attend our wedding.
