Save the dates??

January isn't too early at all, especially because you have a lot of out-of-town guests.

I usually see quotes of 6-8 months out for local weddings, and 10-12 months out for destination weddings.

We're getting married in October and I'm sending ours out in January.

Normally you send them out 6-8 months prior. All of our guests had to travel for our wedding because we choose to get married half way in between both families since our families live in two different states. We actually traveled further than most of our families because we live in a completely different state than either families or the venue. We sent ours out at the beginning of December for a July wedding. I wanted to send them in November, but my husband was making them and he kept putting them off.

It would be perfectly fine to send save the dates in January. I'm a 9/5/2020 bride and already sent out mine. THe only feedback i've had is positive
