Save the dates

I don’t think so - I would send them out around 8 months before the wedding - then the invitations 3/4 months before the wedding

I thinks September is a little early. My friend is getting married 10/10/20. She is sending the save the date in December and sending the invitations out in February. She's giving her family to beginning of June to rsvp.

Im getting married in early October 2020 and we are sending save the dates the first week of November. About 85-90% of our guest list is from out of town/all over the world and we want them to have enough time to plan and save to be there. That’s why we are sending a little earlier than usual. If that is not the case for you then I believe its like 7-8 months before the wedding. Hope that helps!

OP i would say January or February would be sufficient!

I’m getting married October 26th, and we sent ours out in December 2018

We're getting married 10/2020, 99% of our guest are out of town guest, we are sending save the dates in Dec for our out of country guest, and Feb for the rest of the out of state guest.
