Save the Dates - what website or vendor are you using and why?

Aspen, on June 5, 2020 at 3:50 PM Posted in Planning 1 14

Hi everyone!

I am getting married on 7/11/2021 and I am excited to be putting together my Save the Dates very soon! We just had our engagement photoshoot done last month on May 16th (one day after our 8 year dating anniversarySmiley heart) and we are supposed to get the photos in this coming Monday. I'm wondering what website you used to create your Save the Dates? Of course I want really good quality and a great price as well. We want to use one or two of our engagement photos on the card with text overlaid.

Let me know who you had a good experience with!

Thank you!

I used VistaPrint. We created our own save the date design then uploaded the design. They made this very easy to do so. We choose to get magnets rather than paper save the dates. They came very quickly. I ordered the envelopes for them from Basic Invite. I wanted the envelopes to be addressed for me because my husband and I don't have neat handwriting. VistaPrint unfortunately doesn't address envelopes which is why I ordered them somewhere else.

I think magnets are better than just paper save the dates because your guests can stick them to their fridges and not have to think about where they stuck their save the date.

We used Truly Engaging by Magnet Street! We got 4" by 5.5" magnets with a picture on the right and wording on the left. We had been between them and Minted, but they had a 75% off sale, and that really sold us on them. We ordered ~$1350 worth of stationary and only paid ~$340.

We used Minted for our save the dates and we were extremely happy with both the quality and the service!

We used minted for our very nice magnet save the dates. We used Canva (14 day pro free trial) for our change the date postcards, had to design our own but I was comfortable with it. Printing 100 was only $31 with their premium paper. Final product felt high quality.

We used Shutterfly, because they were having a sale at the time. We were very pleased with how we could design our own.

I ordered from Costco. I did postcards-cheaper postage. I loved them.

We'll be getting ours from Etsy because it's the only place we could find anything remotely close to what we were looking for. For the amount we would need, it's decently priced.

We used Shutterfly for our save-the-date magnets and I was really happy with the quality. Their customer service is also very good. We had to postpone our reception because of covid and they let us print new ones for free. Also, they have a lot of sales.

Minted! Good sales, AWESOME customer service, also did our wedding website through them, and it matched our invite suite. Free website, or $15 to customize the URL Save the Dates - what website or vendor are you using and why? 1
