Save the dates return address

FutureMrsGSon, on September 27, 2017 at 8:56 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

So, for our STDs, is it proper to put our names or parents names/address? I only ask because my parents will be receiving wedding invitations responses at their address, and I already have a stamp with their information on it. It might be easier to have anything returned sent to them. Or should I put our address? My parents are paying for the wedding, and I’d hate to order a stamp for our names if I’m only able to use it for a year.. Any advice?

Put your parents if the invitation rsvps are going there as well.

We put our names for the return address on the STDs. My parents are paying for most of the wedding, but they just said to go ahead and put our names.

It really doesn't matter. You are only doing it because the post office requires a return address.

No responses are expected or needed for an STD.

We are using our address as well. My mom said it would be easier just to use one address, instead of using multiple return addresses.

It really doesn't matter. Like muriel said, it is really for the post office.

Since your parents are paying for everything, you probably should put their return address on the STDs. We decided not to put our address on there as the majority of people who are invited already know. If one gets lost in the mail, they'll get the invitation (which will have our return address on it).
