No photo because people will just eventually dump the save the date with your photo in the trash!

We just had a photo session explicitly for our Save-the-dates / invitations 😬 I want to show off how good we both look, lol

I'll share mine once I've finished making it. 😊

My fiancé and I decided to do a photo of our location instead of ourselves! We did this mainly because the majority of our guests are traveling but also because I didn’t particularly like the idea of my face on someone’s fridge for a year! ☺️

We decided to do a postcard save the date with a photo of us because we're going to have a destination wedding. They came out super cute!

I voted "no photos" for Save the Dates because I think I'd like to have a photo of the location or keep it old-fashioned with custom-calligraphy invitations, et cetera. We're likely going to do a vintage/romantic (if at a mainly outdoor-oriented venue) or vintage/glam theme (if we're going with a more urban/historic venue).

Initially, I loved the idea to do a "save the date!" photoshoot, but I think that's also what wedding websites are good for, without worrying about our photos ending up lost somewhere! And if we're worried they did get lost, that's what texts and emails are for too!

These are all so cute! I made/designed ours, and they did have a photo:

Our postponement announcement and second save the date didn't have a photo though, it seemed a bit much to have 3 separate ones with photos, you know?

We chose a photo because we sent our STD's out so far in advance. We thought people would be more inclined to keep it on their fridge if there was a picture on it. We did as a magnet Smiley smile Plus, you get the engagement photos done for a reason, right? May as well use them.

I used a photo because we happened to have a high quality family photo (taken by a friend who is a semi-pro photographer) that we could use. Otherwise I would have opted for no photo unless we had engagement photos done (which we didn't).

I was leaning towards no photo at first, but my fiancé's sister took some really nice engagement pictures for us and I wanted to use one. I ordered these from Zazzle, we paid a little extra for high quality paper and my friends and family that received them said they're cute and classy and they love the picture.
