Save the dates - is a kissing picture appropriate?

Depends. Is there tongue? Hands in inappropriate places? Let's see this pic.

Mine has us kissing. As long as it’s a tasteful kissing picture then you’re fine.

I wouldn't do this. Not everyone wants a picture of you kissing hanging on their fridge for months on end.

I think it depends on the picture and the kiss.

One thing to consider is that sometimes, not every single person on your guest list is close to both of you. They may be a close friend who lives far away that hasn't ever met your FS, or a relative that has only met you once or twice. In situations like those where you're not sending the STD to a mutual friend who knows what your FS looks like, it's nice when both of your faces are clearly visible in the picture, and that's just not the case with kissing pictures.

I agree w/ Stephanie, I was faced w/ the same decision. I really liked our kissing photo a lot as well but I chose not to go w/ it for our STD’s for that same reason. Honestly ppl might not want to see that for months leading up to your wedding. Instead I use (kissing photo) on the cocktail napkins during our cocktail hour

FH is kissing my forehead in our STDs. It looks fine.

One of my favorite e-pics is a kissing picture but the general consensus was it could be awkward for people to have pictures of us kissing on their fridge for the next 7 months, so I skipped on that one.

I hate when people use a kissing photo for their std. I find it inappropriate, and I don't want a picture of people making out hanging on my fridge.

We used a picture. A sweet kiss of the forehead, was nice. But, it's what you prefer and what you think is tasteful.

I think it is fine as long as it's in good taste.

You need a picture where people can see your faces, at least in profile. You can barely see either of your faces in that photo.

I don't think this photo should be used because it's hard to see your faces. Is there another to use, maybe use 2, one kissing, one non kissing? I do agree not everyone will want kissing photos hanging on their fridges for months.
