Save the dates/ invites

How early is to early to start getting addresses from people to send out save the dates? When should I start sending them out since my wedding aint till next October?

    If you send out the save the dates next spring you could get the addresses by February maybe. I wouldn’t do it now because you never know who will move or have a break up.

    Save the dates are sent out 6-12 months before..just make sure you stick to that guest list since you can't uninvite people. Invitations are sent out 6-8 weeks before with replies due back 2 weeks before to give you time to contact anyone who didn't reply.

    Getting addresses is no fun. If you can be sneaky and get a big list of addresses from a relative (maybe someone who got married recently in your or your FH's family) and start collecting sooner rather than later without making it seem like your guest list is set in stone and those people are DEFINITELY invited, that might make your life easier down the road. You can fill in the gaps later when the time gets closer.

    I Sent My Save The Dates Out In March, And Am Sending Out Invites In July.
