Save the dates during Covid-19

Nicole, on April 27, 2020 at 3:09 PM Posted in Community Conversations 2 2
So I have our save the dates with our planned date of 12/12/20 in Vegas (we are from Texas).
With the looming possibility of having to reschedule our wedding due to a 2nd wave or family being unable to attend, I was thinking about also including some kind of cute insert. Just something that’s easy to put in the envelopes that basically explain, this is our date but there is also a chance it could change! I’m just having trouble finding a cute/clever way to word it.
Had anyone else done this? All ideas are welcome!

I was going to do this too, but others on here said that would be a little odd, like saying "save this date, but maybe not." I just send them out and had our wedding website address on it so they could refer to that for changes.

    Hi Nicole,

I think it's a great idea that you want to keep your guests in the loop for your big day! If I were in your shoes, I would send out the save-the-date as normal but include a small blurb on your wedding website letting your guests know you are monitoring the situation.

I think this will be less confusing for everyone and then your guests can keep an eye on your website for further communication.

    I hope this helps!

    Smiley heart
