Save the dates, covid reschedule

Sarah, on September 15, 2020 at 2:02 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
Hello, I sent out save the dates for my original date back in June 2020, and decided to reschedule to June 2021. I sent out change the date cards when we knew we were rescheduling. Should I send out more save the dates for the new date?... or is what I did enough and can just go straight to the wedding invitations when its time? What do you think?

If you already sent out change the dates with the new date on there, you can just go straight to invites.

I think you can skip new Save The Date cards, I think the Change The Date cards you already sent are fine!

If what you sent has the new date, then you’re fine. Our situation was the opposite. We sent postponement “postcards“ via text but didn’t have a date on there because we hadn’t solidified a new date yet. But now that we have our new date, I have a stack of new save the date cards to send out. 😆

Did you change the dates have your new date on them? If they did not, I would just sent your invitations a little earlier than the recommended 6-8 weeks.

If you sent change the dates then i don’t see a reason for another save the date. The invitations will be fine

I think what you meant was you sent save-the-dates, then sent, actually-you-don't-need-to-save-that-dates, and now are asking if you need to inform all of those people of your newly confirmed date. If that's correct, you can just skip to the invitations, but share the new date with anyone who you need to have at your wedding to make it feel complete.
