Save the Dates Addressed!

Mandi, on July 8, 2019 at 10:38 PM Posted in Planning 0 2
We *ahem* I had wrote all of our save the date envelopes this evening.
I have to print them. Cut them apart. And then convince my fiance to help stuff, stamp, and return address label them.

I did not send everyone a save the date. He did for his side. 🤦‍♀️
Also, a ton of his side probably got cut off because he didn't know their kids names. Uh... well.

An actual discussion we just had
Me: "I addressed the save the date to your Uncle Eric to Uncle Eric and his daughter Ella."
Fiance: "You didn't address it to Shannon (Ella's mom)?"
Me: "No. I'm not going to invite your uncle, his ex, his girlfriend 2 minutes, and his daughter."
Fiance: "You have to invite her mom."

We're not inviting Uncle, Baby Mama, Baby and Girlfriend of 2 minutes. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

We've tabled this discussion. But I'm not inviting that sort of drama to our wedding. 🤷‍♀️

I wouldn’t- if you or he have never met these extra people then don’t feel obligated to invite them.

I've met the mother of the cousin. She's at Easter and Christmases. Fiance says he doesnt think the kid is allowed to go with the uncle on her own (he's an alcoholic and not the brightest).
Which, I get. But then I guess the cousin just won't come.
