Save the date/invite cost?

Sorry for posting back to back, but I have the day off!!! Smiley smile

How much did you pay per paper STD?

How much did you pay per paper invite?

Looking at "create my own" vista print options for STDs. I'll purchase nicer formal invites (maybe from etsy, or some other means).

We decided to skip STD as the vast majority of our guests are local and we verbally told everyone who is closest to us (friends/family).

We did use Invitationsbydawn for our invites- we ordered 250 and it came out to about $1.50 or a little less per invite. I hated spending money on invitations because I feel people throw them out pretty quickly. We got a good deal, but there are also tons of places that offer sales throughout the year.

I am doing everything on Vistaprint but waiting until the Cyber Monday sales (50-60% off). I found that they are the cheapest option of all the online retailers.

You can also purchase the template on Etsy and then print them with Vistaprint.

I spent $50 on 45 STD through Staples. FH created them. We spent $200 on invites for the same number through wpd/ Shutterfly.

We spent $100 on $100 magnet save the dates (included the cost of stamps & custom envelope seals) on VistaPrint. I ordered too many though and have like 10-15 left over. I am also going to do invites on VistaPrint, but we are waiting for either black friday or cyber monday!

Mine cost $0 because I designed them myself and printed them with my company.

I would try to take advantage of sales. Shutterfly (Wedding Paper Divas), almst almost always has a 40% off sale going on.

I spent $124 on 100 STDs. Haven't decided on invites yet. I am assuming it will be slightly more with inserts.
