    6-8 months before your wedding.

    As PP stated, 6-8 months is plenty. Probably go closer to 9-10 if it's a super far away destination wedding or something like that.

    We’re getting married December 14th. We’re sending our out in August 1st and our wedding invitations out October 1st. We also have response cards for them to send back by November 10th. That way people don’t loose them or forget.

    We sent ours 10 months out with our hotel block information. We had a lot of out of state guests.
