How far in advance should Save the date invitations be sent?

    Save the Dates are generally sent 6-8 months before the wedding, or up to a year in advance for a destination wedding.

    Save the dates and invitations are two different things. Save the dates are typically sent 6-8 months before the wedding and invitations are sent 6-8 weeks before.

    We sent ours 7 months in advance and then we just sent invites out yesterday! We're getting married in March Smiley smile
