Save the date vs Invitation

Hey y’all 👋🏽 Would it make sense to send save the date AND invitations? I don’t want to spend too much on those items since I know a lot of people will read them a few times & that’s it. Your thoughts?

Save the dates aren't necessary as long as you send out the invitation early enough. You can use a template from Paperless Post; my friend said the Flyer option can be saved as a link for RSVP's and is free.

I combined our save the dates with our Christmas cards! Killed two birds with one stone!
