HEYY Ladies

Does it matter which happens first??? Send Save-da-date cards or Engagement party. Im getting my ideas for the save-the-date cards and was thinking of getting them out oct/Nov for a JUNE 2012 wedding now my Engagement party is this summer July.

I'd probably do the party first. Might be awkward to get a STD if you don't know the couple is engaged!

I'd do engagement party first, save the date second - You don't need to send save the dates a year ahead - you can send them up to 6 months ahead too, and then send your invites 3 months ahead.
