Savannah vs. Tybee Island vs. Hilton Head Island

Are you guys hoping to do any local things that might be going on then? I ask because perhaps that could help narrow down which area you want to stay in. In October they may have different fall festivals, events, concerts, ect. It might be fun to see what the local areas have to offer.
If that isn't up you alley what about restaurants each area may have a restaurant it is known for or local good eats. These are all things we look at when we are going somewhere makes the trip more exciting for us. Plus I love to plan so I get to research.

Will you have a car? Tybee is in between Hilton head and Savannah. and doesn’t require more than half a day so you can visit there to and from Downtown Savannah. There’s so many hotel options in Downtown Savannah. You can def see the entire city in one day if you’re ambitious but there’s so much to see and soak in! The squares are beautiful. We spent majority of our time walking through all the squares and shops and restaurants.
I can’t comment on Hilton head because I have never visited there. Hope this helps!

My fiancé and I went to Savannah this fall and LOVED it. There is so much to see and do. I would suggest staying in Savannah and going to Tybee Island for a day or even twice if you wanted but this would be easiest with a car.
