Sashes and belts!

I got a belt ! I accidentally bought mine in ivory instead of white but I'm glad of that mistake since I think it looked better

belt for my wedding

The David's bridal site doesn't show my dress with a belt, but since my dress has zero bling I tried one on at my appointment. I didn't get it there because it cost almost as much as the dress! I did get one I liked better and found more flattering to my dress on Amazon.

Mine just looked like it was missing something without the belt. Plus, you can’t tell here because this dress is too big for me and someone would have to lift it up in the back to get the full effect, but the belt made my waist look smaller.

i just can’t decide for me. It looks good on the model but would it suit me? Do I need a transition between the embroidered and beaded top and the plain tulle of the skirt?

I am wearing a belt! I think they can be very flattering, add an extra pop, and look great on just about any dress.

I definitely think you should at least try it with a belt. Go to your dress shop and just ask them to let you try it on with a belt. I feel like mine ties my whole dress together and I love the way belts look on almost every dress I’ve seen. If you don’t like it, at least you explored the option.

I’m not doing one either. I know this is going to sound weird but I actually got the leaf one to put in my hair. They have one without the ribbons to put it in my hair but it was really uncomfortable. And I tried the belt on and it was comfortable on my head and you can’t even tell that it wasn’t supposed to be a head piece.
