Sandals Negril?

Courtney, on August 13, 2019 at 10:52 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 6
Is anyone going there for their honeymoon or have you been? I saw a FB ad for St Lucia from a travel agent and I messaged her about it. She said Jamaica is closer to us and we would have more time to enjoy ourselves. She gave me a quote for 5 nights 6 days including round trip airfare. We also would get 10% off because FH is a veteran. The total would be a little over $3700. It is actually a quite reasonable price I believe with everything being included like water sports, land sports, unlimited food and drink.... things like that.

So I was just wondering if any of you have been there? We would be going at the end of May when I am off work. I am a teacher.

My question is do you want to go to St Lucia or do you want to go to Jamaica? It's like 2 hours flight difference. That doesn't seem like a huge difference in travel time.

Regardless sounds like a good deal. I've never been to Jamaica but the virgin islands were beautiful.

Yeah I didn't know that. I'm just going by what she said last night. The room she chose isn't like the top notch honeymoon room, but I don't think that is very important. We would probably be out during the day anyways.

I guess I am looking for both..... wondering if anyone else is honeymooning there or has honeymooned there before and then also things to do there. I saw where you could swim with dolphins in Montego Bay. It says it is an hour and a half from Negril.

We just booked our honeymoon for Sandals Negril. We actually liked the virgin islands more than jamaica, but plan on staying on the resort the whole time, so we're not worried about that. We chose that Sandals because we wanted lots of activities to do and FH wanted waterparkish things to do - it's just down the beach from their family resort, Beaches. Since they're owned by the same company, you can use both facilities. So we can stay at the adults only resort, but also use the restaurants, water park, etc. at Beaches
