Sandals: Give me the Details

I havent been, but my fiance and I will be going to Montego Bay Jamaica for our honeymoon. Beforing choosing what resort we wanted to go to, we did our research about the country, how close the airport was and watched YouTube videos about the resort.

I have never been to a Sandals, but I've been to many all-inclusive resorts. We looked at Sandals for our honeymoon but ultimately decided against it. While they have great reviews and seem really nice, they are far more expensive than other comparable chains. We ultimately decided on Excellence, which was phenomenal. One of the biggest things that turned me off of Sandals was that room service is only included in some of the higher tier rooms, while other resorts have it included regardless of room category (some more expensive rooms may have some more options, but all rooms have it). Same with alcohol in the room. My husband and I like ordering on from room service sometimes instead of going to 1 of the restaurants, especially if we sleep in a little late (room service typically keeps breakfast service longer than the restaurants) or if we get the late night post-drinking munchies. Excellence and Secrets are 2 other high end adult's only all-inclusive resort chains that you can check out. We've stayed at both and have enjoyed them, but Excellence I think was a bit better.

Hopefully September! We made these plans in hopes that we'll be able to go. I know right know planes are requiring masks during the flight which is no problem. The resort hasn't said anything about masks and said they're opening the resorts in mid June. I guess I'm just being hopeful...I want to do SOMETHING for our honeymoon
