Sand Ceremony Table

Hannah, on July 5, 2017 at 6:56 AM Posted in Planning 0 3

What's a good size for a sand ceremony table? We are having a beach wedding and most vendors only have 30 inch high top tables. Is that too big?

The diameter is fine if it fits into your ceremony space. However, I would stay away from high tops for a sand ceremony. A waist high table is much easier to maneuver around. It gives your guests a better view of the sand ceremony itself and makes for better pictures. If your venue can't supply one it's worth it to buy an inexpensive end table and put a table cloth over it. Best wishes!

That is almost always what we have. My wedding on Saturday had a 30' high top table; it was fine. Sometimes I will have the bride put her bouquet on it as well; it looks nice and that way it's a little easier to remember to take it for the recessional.

If you're on a windy beach (which most of them are....) you might want to bring a length of ribbon to tie the cloth around the table stem so it doesn't blow around.
