San Juan Water Beach Club

I hired The SJWB club in PR because it was a listed as a recommendation from Wedding Wire.I am sadden and disappointed that the venue just contacted me to cancel my event- which is a breach of contract- BC they want to do construction. I was refused a refund from the rooms and from the venue. Not only do I have to start over looking for a venue, but I’ve already spent money on other things like the DJ, flowered etc. I am scheduled for my ceremony In July 2022. Does anybody know what I can do? Im so discouraged

The first step is to always contact consumer reports advocates at the nearest major city tv news stations. Seattle in your case, channels 4, 5 and 7 are the local news so go online to find their contact info. Explain the situation to them after you have exhausted your efforts and they contact the venue or other business on your behalf. Based on the outcome of their work, then look into hiring a lawyer if you still need to.

Oh no - I'm so sorry to hear that Adeline! If they are in breach of contract I'd suggest hiring a lawyer to make sure that you are refunded / compensated appropriately.

You can also make sure to leave reviews for the business online!

I'd also recommend reaching out to other venues so you can book a new place ASAP!!
