san antonio brides - dj Connection?

San Antonio Brides, has anyone used, or is anyone using DJ Connection? They're really highly reviewed online, but it makes me kind of nervous that everything is done over the phone and you don't meet your actual DJ ahead of time unless you pay $$ for an upgraded package.

Hey Natalie!
It’s great that you have checked out all of their online reviews and they are positive. Have you contacted the company directly? You may be able to request some footage of your DJ so that you can see what they are like. Will you have any contact with your DJ before your wedding?

Hi Sinead,
Yes I did talk to them over the phone, all appointments are done over the phone. I'll see about requesting footage of our dj, that's a good idea. We would not have any contact with the dj before the wedding unless we purchase their most expensive package which is about $2500

Hi I am in SA also planning my wedding, but wow that is crazy that you cannot meet him ahead of time, so my venue comes with a DJ included which is a little worrisome but I have a list of things I want him to say and how I want us introduced are you at least allowed to do that? i'm not sure if I am, but I know i will be giving it to him the day of if not. And i'm also making a list of songs I want played so I would for sure think i'm giving it to him in advance. but those are some things to think about good luck!
