Sam's Club CAKES!

We bought my son's first birthday from sam's.. it was lop sided and cheap.. didn't care because it was a smash cake but still...

Not sure where you are located. I'm in Florida. Haven't had Sam's cakes. Wal-Mart cakes are terrible compared to Publix cakes. I would suggest you try their smaller cakes or cupcakes as a tasting before buying.

Maybe you don't care for cake but other people at your wedding do. Don't do a cheap ugly birthday cake.

I looked into a cake there because it was so cheap for a 3 tier. Then I realized that they serve half the number of people a normal 3 tier would. So I think them must be much smaller.

I do not like Wal-Mart cake and Sam's owns Wal-Mart so I shy away from them. My sister used costco sheet cakes with the creme filling and they were amazing, I actually think we're going that route.

I think Publix cakes are really yummy. I think one option is to get a smaller attractive cake for display, cutting, and have a nice sheet or two from publix in the kitchen.

The concept behind having a cake at all is that everyone shares your cake with you. Don't feed them ugly 'cut in the kitchen' cake. For starters, it will look nothing like the nice cake you're having.

Walmart cake I dislike and it has a different taste than sams

I actually ordered my wedding cake from Publix.

Wal-Mart cakes are awful! Sam's club is the same. Stay AWAY

Not sure about Sams club, but Costco cakes are cheap as well and very yummy! Great quality and fancy.

I think Sam's has great cakes! (at least the one by me).

My SIL ordered a 3 tier for an event and it collapsed. I don't recommend it.

If you wanted to go a cheap route I'd do publix. They have great cake for it being so cheap! They were at a bridal show I went to and have a few cake "designs" to choose from. They are generic, but look fine and taste good!

I dislike Sam's club bakery anything. However, check with your local grocery stores & ask for a tasting appointment. I ordered the cake for my first marriage from a grocery store. The price was very reasonable, the cake was delicious & they did an awesome job! They delivered too! No matter where you buy a cake, ask to see pictures of their work!
