My fiance and I are hopefully getting married on August 16, despite COVID deterring our plans. Ideally, we would like to leave for our honeymoon the following day. We booked a beautiful Hawaiian honeymoon, but unfortunately have to postpone that trip until next summer now. Although our wedding and honeymoon will look different than we originally planned, we are still hoping to get away for a few weeks after getting married. We live in NJ, so there are currently 22 states that are off limits to us, or we will have to quarantine for 2 weeks after returning. Does anyone have any recommendations on places to visit? I'd prefer to drive rather than fly as I am immune compromised. We are beach people, so that's at the top of our list. We are also open to going a few places since we hope to go away for two weeks. Our budget for hotels is around $4,000. Unfortunately, a large chunk of money is wrapped up in our postponed Hawaiian honeymoon, so we have to work with a smaller number.
