Salad Plates? Yay or nay?

Hi all..

So as I was reading threads today on this site, they reminded me to check my own reception stuff. As I was going over my contract, it looks like I totally forgot salad plates to rent!! I already have dinner plates. Should I order salad plates as well? If so, should I rent them or provide my own? I can do both if I wanted.

What do you think?

Are you having a plated meal? Then yes you will need salad plates. I am having plated and the salad course will be served first. If you are having a buffet and the salad is just being served at the same time people probably will just put it on the one plate so you will be totally fine with just dinner plates!

Well, if it's within your budget, I'd say rent them. But if it's cheaper for you to provide your own, that's probably easier and less stressful for you to do.

Thank you!! I'm having a buffet meal. Putting a salad on one plate is kinda what I was thinking as well. I have one entree and a side, then salad and rolls.
