Rustic/ Burgundy Color

Brittany , on October 25, 2016 at 9:55 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 18

We are doing a rustic theme for our wedding, and it's taking place around a lake and nothing but trees in October 2017. My color scheme starts with burgundy and I'm lost from there. I don't want to over do the burgundy. We're having the burlap and lace but I need something to break up the darkness other than white or ivory since that will be part of the lace.. any ideas? And please feel free to post any pics!

My color is cranberry. Here is my centerpiece for color reference. Only change I made was to swap out the daisy for a brighter yellow rose.

    Sorry for sideways picture!

We aren't doing a rustic theme but we are having burgandy as our main color and then we also have burnt orange and egg plant with splashes of yellow.

Burgundy, dusty blue, and gold is one of my favorites!

I'm thinking my bridesmaids dresses will be neutral and their bouquets will be burgundy and blush, and mine would be blush. I'm still figuring out the centerpieces.

Thank you all! I think we've decided on the blush/neutral/burgundy.

Burgundy and ivory would look nice, then you could always add in another color (just not blue or it will look like July 4th) or a metallic. Burgundy, silver, and ivory look divine together, as do burgundy, ivory, and emerald. But if you want something warmer I would do burgundy, blush, and gold, or burgundy, khaki/wheat, and blush/plum.

Burgundy or cranberry with gold and ivory accents. A classic combination that will be easy to work with for decor & flowers!
