Runsheet / Timing Query

Sasha, on November 12, 2023 at 11:00 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 2
Hi All,

Keen to get thoughts on whether the below run sheet works! Have additional details on the back end re: vendor timing, but curious if there's anything that doesn't work below?
Our venue also said they need at least 1 hour between meals.

Thank you for any pointers! No-one else seems to understand the pain of run sheets lol.

3:20 is a really odd time for a wedding to start.
You have entrees served at 6:30 and then dinner served at 7:15.

The wedding start time is typically the ceremony time, do not ask your guests to arrive 20 minutes early, they can get to the venue on time. That said, I would start right at 3 PM.

Is there a reason for the 1.5 hour happy hour? That's quite long.

The ten minute buffers you built in are unnecessary (example: 5:30pm Cocktail hour and a half, 5:40pm Reception begins) it should be 4-5 PM Cocktail Hour and 5 PM Reception Begins (or 5:30 if you're sticking with 1.5 hours).

8:30 also seems really late to just open up the dance floor, I'd bump that up as well.
