Running out of time to rent tables & chairs

Shara, on December 31, 2019 at 4:38 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5
I had no idea how expensive this would be especially for farmhouse tables and chairs. I didn’t want any tablecloths but at this point I don’t even know what I can rent before the wedding in five months! Is it too late to find anything? I’m freaking out a little!

PS the reason I have this under DIY is because I’m thinking about having my fiancé build the tables himself but that may be a little unrealistic 😆😫

I don't think its too late to rent. Have you called around yet to ask some wedding decorating services if they offer? Or is it that you are just worried about it because of the cost? You could also travel to some antique stores - or contact an amish community to see if the furniture they build could be rented? That would give the farmhouse feel maybe?

If renting isnt an option for tablecloths you could also buy them on Ebay. I bought tablerunners super cheap on there and I got them within a month. They have a longer delivery date time frame but usually get to there place quicker. I am planning on seeing them after the wedding to make some money back.

Are you having it catered? Often times catering companies have those items to rent as a package that is cheaper since you are getting your food from them. Also, have you tried Facebook marketplace or a bride resale page? I also have found luck on cheaper prices by not telling companies it's for a wedding. They tend to mark up prices as soon as they hear that word.
