It's definitely not a tradition anymore. The only reason I won't be showing my FH is so he's super surprised! Plus he wants to be surprised.

Please, please check what you say before posting it(so you don't look ignorant and get negative comments)

My suggestion? Get comfy with spell check. Because no one can understand what the FUCK you're talking about.

It's not bad luck. Let him see it or not, whatever works for you.

But if there is a black cat in the room?

    Run.

Sorry, it took me 5 minutes (a lifetime when you're my age) to figure out ne is "any", please for the sake of those of us who don't use 'textenglish' type the one more letter and make your posts actually say what you mean so we can respond in the manner you expect. Thanks.

Why is it that people always get defensive and say "This ISN'T English class."

No, but this is life. What English class was trying to prepare you for.

    They failed.

@Amanda As most people said, there really aren't any "rules" per say for this or traditions really. This is one of those things where it's definitely up to the couple!

Also, I don't think anyone was being rude? It can be difficult to read discussion threads that aren't grammatically correct, spelling is off, etc. It was just feedback for any future posts! Smiley smile

As a parent, I wonder. If you really have kids crawling all over you, maybe now isn't the best time to be yelling at people on the interwebs. eh?

When you constantly type using slang and abbreviations it can make it difficult for people to understand you.

The only "idiot" is the person calling someone else an idiot for requesting you use proper English.

I honestly was going to write something nice until you decided to act like a complete bitch.

Also, it's much easier to give someone advice when they can actually understand what's being said.

I will never get this. This is a very serious question:

Are you really, truly, honestly, not embarrassed about the way you are typing? You really don't feel as though you're presenting yourself as uneducated? Or that presenting yourself as educated is for some reason undesirable?

Please answer, I want to know so badly.
