Rsvp's

How long before the day should the RSVPs be due??? We are doing all the food ourselves, so we need to plan for that, but we don't want to make people RSVP too soon and have them forget! I'm frazzled!!

I think 1 month before the wedding date is good. Earlier than that and you’ll generally get a lot of people who have to change their minds one way or another

A week or two before you need a final headcount.

My wedding is June 15 and I wanted all RSVPs back by may 15. But I'm still looking for more. So its important to give that extra amount of time. Because not all of the guest will send them out in time or at all..

It depends when you need final head count so ask your vendors for that. Our transportation & bar need a final headcount 1 month out (June 20) so our RSVP date is June 10!

We set our RSVP due date for 1 month prior to the wedding. Our final count isn't due until the Monday (8/5) before the wedding (8/10).
Gives enough time to follow up with those who didnt RSVP and to arrange seating.
