Rsvps

Brittany, on September 1, 2019 at 7:58 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
Excited that I’m starting to get our RSVPs in the mail!! Trying to figure out what to do on my seating cards?? My RSVP included a choice of three entrees for the reception. I included a line that says please indicate each guests choice, which people have done with numbers or X’s. In hindsight, should have included something about initials. Now I don’t know which person wants which entree?? My seating cards were going to have their name, table number, and entree selection for the wait staff. So...do I message people about which guest wanted which entree or just put Mr and Mrs John Doe or both cards???

I would reach out to clarify who selected which meal. Putting both names and entrees on the place cards is just going to make the process longer and more confusing for your servers.

Ive has this happen as well. I was just going to place one meal on one card and the other on their dates card and if they’re wrong, they can switch plates. They are there together after all, so I don’t see it as a huge deal

Same thing happened to us. We are just doing 1x place card per couple & put both meal choice on the back. They will be seated next to each other & can simply take the right entree.
