RSVP's - The knot?

Jenna, on April 17, 2017 at 8:59 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 11

Has anyone used their wedding website at theknot.com for guests to RSVP? Did it work without kinks? Or have you used a wedding email address? Just looking for different ways to rsvp!

I'm using the knot for my wedding website and RSVP. We did not do paper RSVPs but have asked guests to go to the website and do it. So far we've gotten quite a few back and nobody has complained of a single issue.

I'm going to use my wedding website through the knot to do RSVPs. It's a little bit of a pain to upload all the guests (I suggest their template builder for that) but it seems very straight forward... I hope :-/

I've RSVP'd on ThKnot before and through a wedding email. TheKnot is very user friendly/easy to use.

I tried using the knot for my website and guest list but it was such a pain! Wedding wire is much quicker and easier to manage!

You can also have guests RSVP online through a WeddingWire website Smiley smile

The Knot does indicate plus ones (which you aren't @unaware, you're a SO), the couple just has to indicate when they set it up that the guest is getting a plus one.

I'm using it and I love it. They also have a separate app to manage your guest list.

I gave our guests the option to mail on their RSVP, or go online.

I have found The Knot to be 10x better than WW. My only wish is that they had a seating chart tool linked to it. But I do like that it gives guests an option to include their email so they can get a reminder of the wedding closer to the date.

Keep in mind you need to tell your guests they will have to enter their names EXACTLY how it appears on the invitation you sent.

I have set up though wedding wire and it was super easy and organized.

I like the fact the person searches for the name and is taken to everyone from the household who''s invited list - no option to add anyone and I can leave the kids out without doubts from parents and in a nice manner.

Can anyone please tell me how they wrote on their invites to reply on the knot?
Looking for examples as this is what I would like to do as well!

Hi- how did you set up the RSVP? By the default, the site automatically listed me and my fiancee.

Do you need to add every guests name into the website for them to be able to RSVP or can they just RSVP without us adding in every name?

I'm a bit put off because every rsvp seems to require an email address for each guest. Does anyone know a website where the names are enough?
