RSVPs slow to come back

We had lots of issues. Our deadline was last Friday and at that time we still had 71 people to hunt down. Now its almost a week past our due date and we are still chasing people down. Its so frustrating. All I can say is try not to let it get to you too bad.

This is my BIGGEST pet peeve!! Fortunately, today is my deadline since we're now 30 days until the wedding. I'm still waiting for 6 RSVP's. I just don't understand why people don't send them back even if they're not going to make the wedding. It's not like we're going to be upset they can't attend, stuff happens & can't be avoided. Although we invited them in the hopes of them being able to attend we also understand that it's not always possible. Just send them darn it!!!

Some people will just wait until the deadline no matter what. I hear your frustration. After planning a wedding myself, there is so much I will do differently when I know someone getting married in the future.

Yes! I don't even have half back and our deadline is next Friday. I'm not even sure I want to hunt down anyone...if you don't reply, you're not coming.

A lot of people will drop them in the mail on the deadline day. I don't really understand why people are so last minute. I'm not looking forward to hunting people down but I know it is inevitable.

I think a DW definitely has something to do with it. Ours isn't out of the country or anything, but it definitely feels like a DW since everyone will have to travel. I've only gotten back about 20 out of 80 RSVPs so far, but I figure it's because people need to make sure they'll be able to make travel arrangements before committing. I'm not too worried about it yet

Our RSVP deadline is in 8 days and we still have 54 rsvps remaining.

As a guest you have one job - RSVP by the date required I really dont understand why this is so difficult..........We shall see how this remaining week plays out

You will have a lot of people just "forget" to send them back. It happens. It's not as important of a day to them as it is to you. As easy as it is to just put the rsvp back in the mail, you will have to track people down to get their answer. We had 50 left at deadline and had to contact all of them...and they all were coming/they all came. So make sure to track every last one of them down.

Welcome to the club... This has been highly annoying for me. I wouldn't care if it weren't so pricey and I could get my money back. I've gotten about 40% back and my deadline is a week from now...

Yes this is a common problem, and it just makes no sense. Apparently no one understands how to RSVP for an event...smh

I made a post about this this morning. My deadline is 8 days away and I am still missing 70/112. It's not that hard to put it in the mail people!
