RSVP/Menu Questions

Hello, all! I'm getting ready to order invitations and need some help with the RSVPs. 1. Do I do a generic choice, such as chicken, beef, vegetarian? Or do I keep the full meat options? Hello, all! I'm getting ready to order invitations and need some help with the RSVPs.

1. Do I do a generic choice, such as chicken, beef, vegetarian? Or do I keep the full meat options? I'm thinking I'd like to know specifics if I were a guest.

2. There are only 3 options on our invitation suite. Should I just communicate to those with children that children's meals are available? I was considering making the last option "Vegetarian/Child (please specify)", but is that too complicated?

3. Does the menu look too cramped? Should child meals be there too?

4. This invitation suite doesn't have any sort of "please indicate how many people will attend". I'll try to submit a designer request to have that added. Have any of you run into that issue as well? We are including all children and 1s, so we just need to know for seating chart purposes.

Thank you, everyone! I appreciate the advice. Smiley smile Edit: The RSVP date isn't set in stone, just generic for now.

Question: For those of you saying that you wouldn't order any of these options, do any of these other vegetarian options look better to you? Smiley smile I want something that more people will enjoy! I thought I'd like the lasagna best, but I am the least picky person on the planet. As long as it doesn't have mangoes (because those will kill me), I'm super happy. Haha.

I ran this by my mother (vegetarian) and she's had vegetable wellington at a wedding and loved it. She said she'd order one of each. Ha ha! Some people don't like mushrooms, but she does; some can't stand them, or are allergic.

We ended up not hosting kids. Our venue was ages 3-12 at half the adult price. 13 and up was the full adult price, including 5 hours of open bar charged for just soda. If a younger guest wanted an adult entree = full adult price, which I'm sure a number of them would have chosen. We didn't choose a kids' entrée, but if an adult would have chosen it = full adult rate.

I'm a HUGE fan of mushrooms, but I know not everyone is. I had to google vegetable wellington, haha. Any other votes?

We actually have a separate charge for soda and bottled water per person (which sort of sucks), then we're doing an open bar on consumption. We're definitely hosting kids because our venue holds 250, we've invited 65 and we're hoping at least 50 will come. Our shaky worst-case scenario is 35. Haha. So right now we're Oprah.
