Rsvping but Names Not Found

I haven't run into that issue specifically, but I can't find my WW website when I search under either my name or FH's name. And we definitely have one that's live. The only way we can get to it (when not logged in) is by specifically typing the full URL. Different issue, but still annoying... I hope this gets fixed for you soon, though!

WW unfortunately has many glitches which is why some people use other sites to share with guests such as withyjoy.com or rsvpify.com. At this point just have guests call you.

Yes! This is the whole reason why I didn’t use WeddingWires website! I tested out all of my RSVPs like a year ago when I initially was going to use WeddingWire and it is terrible!


I use minted and it is so much better! People can put their first names or just their last names or even just nicknames and it finds them

Yes, we had this issue with a couple guests. Tell them to just put in their First Name and then search; this seemed to solve the issue for our guests.

Make sure in the Guest List that you have selected them to be invited to the wedding. If you don't check that box then they won't be able to RSVP.

We would advise double-checking with your guests that they are not entering any extra spaces before or after their names. If they enter extra spaces by accident the system will say that they can't be found even though they are showing on the guest list.

Yes, my guests are having this same issue. When they type in their name it shows "We found 0 guests matching..." They were on an iPhone. They accessed the site via a computer and it worked fine. I can confirm they tried first name only, first and last together, etc... How do I avoid this for other guests attempting to RSVP?

Yes, my guests are having this same issue. Not all of them though. I'm not sure if there's like a weird iPhone setting but I have an iPhone and some guests that could not find their name I could using my phone. It's just weird. My suggestion is just telling them to search only their first name, that seems to work.

I think it's still an issue even if you have all of the guest entry information accurate. I think it's a safari or iPhone issue with some people.

I'm sorry, you're having this issue. No this hasn't happened to me. I did a test run on my home computer and Iphone on each of my guests. I have had zero issues. Are they typing in their name exactly as you have it? Ex: Putting Bill instead of William.

Apparently this is still an issue/glitch in 2024! But as others said, telling guests to just enter their first name seems to be the loophole!
