Rsvp

Kristen, on August 2, 2019 at 9:41 AM Posted in Planning 0 15
I was wondering if it would be okay to put my RSVP details on the back of my invitation? Will people see it?

I am doing RSVP cards for a Family but hoping to have my friends do their RSVP online

I would put it on the front, on the bottom.
We did RSVP cards in paper, with a couple questions on the back (re: welcome party & transportation, allergy restrictions) and on the front explicitly printed “please see reverse for more” and I would estimate that maybe only half the people realized there was a back despite the front clearly saying so.
People are notoriously bad at rsvping, so you definitely want to make it as clear and easy as possible.

I think they will. That's what I did but as pp mentioned people are really bad at rsvp'ing so making it as clear as possible would be nice.

We received an invite with a link to RSVP on the back. Totally missed it and received the dreaded call after the deadline had passed.

I would definitely do a separate card or put it on the front somewhere. I think a lot of people do not examine things thoroughly or even turn it over. So make sure you notify them if you are putting something on the back, or they probably won't see it.

I did it on the back.. For people I thought wouldn't bother turning it over, I put the RSVP info right side up when they opened the envelope so they'd have to flip it over to see the invitation part 😂

Slightly different, but instead of a separate details card (for hotel & transportation info) we just put it on the back of the invite. And a note at the very bottom on the front saying “details on reverse).

I would see it only because I would be looking for the RSVP info when there was no RSVP card in the packet or info on the front. I feel like it’s a process of elimination. If it’s not on the front, it must be on the back, right? Hopefully your guests could figure it out lol.

I put my link on the front at the very bottom - I was also afraid that people wouldn't flip it over as most invitations aren't double-sided.
