Quick question, my wedding is 10/10/20 and the wedding wire timeline tool suggest that I send out my invitations by August 15. When should the deadline for RSVP be?

Our RSVP deadline was about 2 weeks before our wedding date. This gave us time to get our final headcount in and finalize our seating chart.

I think the general rule is 2 weeks before the wedding! Our wedding date is also 10/10/20.

I'm thinking 9/25/20 will be our RSVP due date/deadline!

Ours was 40 days before our wedding because 1 vendor needed a final count 30 days out. I'd set it a few days before whenever your vendors need final counts.

Base it on when you need to give final headcounts to your vendors, and add in extra time to chase down guests who don't RSVP. If your vendors need final counts 2 weeks before the wedding, consider setting the RSVP deadline 3 weeks before, for example. We're planning on going with an August 10, 2020 RSVP deadline for our September 19, 2020 wedding.

We are having our RSVP deadline be 4 weeks before the wedding. Our venue needs a final head count 2 weeks before the wedding so that gives us 2 weeks to reach out to everyone!
