RSVP wording

Maria, on November 15, 2016 at 4:53 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4

How would you specify the number of guests invited? I've read many people that do not know about etiquette will still invite guests even though the invitation is addressed to certain guests. Is it inappropriate or unnecessary to add a note on the rsvp something like Due to limited seating or venue capacity, we have reserved X seats in your honour?

Just put we have reserved X seats in your honor and skip the due to limited seating part

Write in the number of seats...don't include an extra note about limited space

You can include the line "We have reserved ___ seats in your honor" Then fill in the number for each household as you assemble your invites. OR - depending on the capabilities of the company you are ordering from, you can have the invited guests names printed directly on the RSVPs.

Just say, "we have reserved two seats in your honor" The end.
