RSVP Wording? (Buffet and a Vegetarian Entree Option)

JuleeM, on May 18, 2015 at 10:48 AM Posted in Planning 0 5

We are having a buffet at our reception and will offer beef and chicken entrees. However we are able to offer our vegetarian guests a plate of pasta which will not be on the buffet line.

Any thoughts on how to word this on the RSVP card? We will need to supply a count to the venue ahead of time.

I'm afraid if I just put a checkbox for Vegetarian Meal on the RSVP it may be confusing. What do you guys think?

Maybe after the accepts/decline part say something like

"A buffet consisting of beef and chicken entrées will be served. Please make a note below if you would prefer to have the vegetarian option instead."

Please check if you require a vegetarian entree/meal - something like that I'd guess would work.

You can have them check off chicken/ beef buffet or vegetarian pasta entree.

We recently got an RSVP card that asked us to check off "barbecue buffet" or "vegetarian entree"
