RSVP website

Cathleendanielle, on April 26, 2017 at 10:27 AM Posted in Planning 0 21

What do you ladies recommend for an RSVP website? Not doing cards. All guests are tech savvy. So a website that won't give a long complicated URL would be best! Thanks for the website advice in advance!

I used The Knot, and I paid $20 for a custom URL.

eta: just so you know, 90% of my guests returned the cards

We used the RSVP feature through our WW website. Super easy to use, and we didn't have any trouble with it. Our guests all reported it to be easy as well. And it's free which is always nice.

We did our website through Minted. It came with a custom URL for free. It organized RSVPs in a spreadsheet for us. Love it. It has been painless and easy!

I'm sending RSVP cards with the wedding website on them to RSVP as well as a mail back option for my guest who are technology challenged. *cough cough* grandma.

We will be using the free site here on WW, although I am not sure if any of my guests will actually use it!

Bit.ly is a free service for reducing URL size and making kind of short custom URLs.

So, if you're worried about length, use bit.ly to reduce that. I did it for my hotel accommodations website.

I have our website through theknot.com and uploaded our guest list for RSVPs. Our website is short, so I saw no need to purchase a custom url just for the site. So far, we've had about 20 or so RSVPs come back with zero issues.

We are planning on using our wedding wire site abd then created a QR code that guests can scab and takes them directly to the rsvp page.

I would highly recommend cards. They are literally making me feel amazing about our wedding and our guests.

I used the knot. It had some features that I liked, but I didn't spend enough time playing with it to use all the functionality. There has to be a way to print out the invite list--which would be useful when addressing invitations.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm only using the app and mobile website for WW but I cannot seem to find there it has a website creator option.

I used mywedding.com and it's been fine. I can't figure out why I'm not getting notified by email but when I go on the site I see who rsvped. No issues from my guests - it's easy for them to use the site

I also used The Knot and purchased a domain so we could have a custom URL.

I'm using ewedding.com and also doing online RSVP only. I could barely get ppl to open their mail to get the STD's let alone ask them to mail something back. lol

We used the Knot for the RSVP option and my guests are tech savvy too. I will warn you to not a single one used that function to rsvp. They all mailed in the paper ones. Many asked questions that could be answered on the website and several said they didn't go to the site at all. I have the web address on the invite.
