rsvp tracking

Jocelyne, on August 19, 2020 at 1:07 PM Posted in Planning 0 14
Hiiii! Any recommendations on how to track RSVPs? We just made the decision to cancel our bigger October wedding and have a micro wedding instead next month (before things shut down again 😩) , we are only having 50 guests and I’m scramming you get invitations out in the next couple of days

We kept a spreadsheet with each of our guests names, how many were in their household, when their invite was sent, when we got an RSVP back,if we received a gift, thank you card sent, etc.

Ahhh I see! Thanks, that’s a great option. I was hoping there would be some sort of text app or website to do it all, but if all else fails, that wouldnt be too hard to do especially for our small guest list! Thank you!!

I agree with keeping the spreadsheet.
If you did website rsvp then that would do it for you but if you did paper invites then spreadsheets would be best

My wedding website has been a life saver! I chose to send out invitations, but had guests RSVP on my website instead of mailing one back. Quicker and easier for everyone!

Most wedding website hosts (WeddingWire, The Knot) offer an RSVP tracker if that's what you'd prefer.

Rsvpify says they track them if you use their service to send them out. Otherwise use a spreadsheet

I use the one on WW app, works really good and its on my phone. I also have a back up paper list that i keep in my purse and my physical wedding planner book has one too. I'm paranoid about losing one, don't mind my craziness lol! Smiley xd But if you want an app on your phone i would say WW is probably easiest since you have the app already Smiley smile

That’s really good to know, thanks so so much!!! And it’s not crazy at all, that’s a legit fear that I will lose track of something important so I totally feel you!

I saw in Pinterest, if you are using a spreadsheet, send the rsvps out with a number for each one on the back. Then it’ll be easier to keep track of who didn’t respond!

There is! I used Zola (sorry for not reading all of the comments). Because the mail is running so slow, we've asked guests to RSVP online. It actually breaks it down by event (we are having a smaller wedding too & we are offering those we can no longer accommodate the option to attend virtually. You can actually set who can RSVP to what event from your account/admin access. It does the tracking for you & there is a way you can document the RSVPs yourself if anyone calls you when they have difficulty.

I did ours before on postmark where we were able to track to see it was delivered, opened and those who respond. Free site and great to use
